What is the Budget for Clinton County Missouri

Available county budget data for 2025 is sketchy so far - none is available on line. We eagerly await the results of the latest 2026 state audit. We will perform the same budget analysis on that data once it is released by the state. The last available data we have is from the 2021/2022 state audit. A breakdown of 2021 revenue and expenditures will serve as our only baseline for the moment. State and federal dollars (intergovernmental revenue) make up a significant portion of county revenues, while road & bridge repair (infrastructure) make up the largest expense. In other words roads are a big deal when it comes to the budget.
